The closing date for nominations is 5pm BST on Monday 21 September 2026.

Please note, applicants for the President role must have a good knowledge of the SSG Constitution and the workings of the SSG and must be active and paid-up members of the SSG and of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG). Candidates for the Presidency would benefit from having been members of the Society's Council, but this is not essential.
