I would be grateful if you or one of your friends/colleagues could send an account of the any recent events (AGA, BSG, SSG) as you saw it. It doesn’t matter if we have two contributions as people will see things differently and I would be keen to have a hepatology view as well as an IBD or upper GI view of the same event. I am also keen that the newsletter continues to reflect the views of as wide a proportion of the society as possible and not just Ayr!

The meeting focussed on the genetic and environmental factors involved in upper GI cancer, as well as examining the evolving strategies for cancer treatment and prevention.
